Our Pitch

Before making our music, we thought it best we'd pitch our ideas so that you will know what to expect from us. My group consists of myself, Sophie Jansen, Emily Fry and Vicky Gordon. Over the last year, I have  become very good friends with these girls, and thought it best that we work as a group to give us the best possible grade we can get from creating the music video.

The music video we are creating is for the song, 'Bloc Party- Flux'. The song is 3:38 seconds long with three choruses throughout the whole song. The song itself is about a relationship breakdown and trying to find a way to resolve this issue. "State of flux" this is a lyric that is used a lot in the song which implies that the relationship is changing, hence the word 'flux'.

The whole aspect of our music video is to create the atmosphere of a stalker following our actor (Jake Verlander) throughout the video. The actress (Emily Fry) will appear and disappear from the sight of Jake, making him paranoid and always looking over his shoulder. Eventually, Jake becomes confused and disorientated as the music video continues. Will the stalker get the best of him?

Our stalker will be following Jake through the streets of Camden Town from the train station he comes out of to him returning to the train station. Posters and pictures of Jake will be posted around the area making him concerned and some what vulnerable. Some of the posters will have the word 'Wanted' on the intentions of our stalker very clear.
