Conventions of the Indie/Rock Genre
- Mainly of the Indie/Rock Genre videos consists of medium close-ups of the Main artists face
- Some medium close-ups of the rest of the band faces/instruments.
- Medium long-shots of individual band members, to show what they are doing. For example, when an individual is playing an instrument such as a guitar, piano or drums the focus of the camera is solely placed on them.
- Generally 80% of the music video is of the band members, either performing individually or as a group, while the other 20% is a narrative that has been built around the lyrics.

genre of music videos has a huge variety of conventions, the hue can be dark, bright or black and white depending on the tone of the lyrics. - The clothing that they wear usually seem to be dark with skinny jeans
